Duval County Public Schools’ Extended Day Enrichment Program provides before and/or after school childcare services at seventy-three school elementary sites and twenty secondary sites throughout Duval County.

These classes occur on Monday: 8/18, 8/25, 9/8, 9/15, 9/22, 9/29, 10/6. This is for students in grades 2-5.
Some of the topics you will learn in this class will be:
- Teaching children the basics of CPR and AED awareness. - What CPR stands for and how to perform hands-only CPR. - What an AED is, where they are commonly found and how they can assist in the CPR process. - What roles they can play in an emergency situation to provide support and respect to someone in need. - Touching on basic first aid skills - primarily looking for signs and symptoms of heat exhaustion, what it is and how we can help intervene.
