Duval County Public Schools’ Extended Day Enrichment Program provides before and/or after school childcare services at seventy-three school elementary sites and twenty secondary sites throughout Duval County.

This course is designed to prepare the entry-level phlebotomist or those individuals seeking a medical career pathway with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to perform in a medical laboratory environment. The phlebotomy student gains confidence and professionalism in the art of obtaining blood samples for laboratory analysis through repeated hands-on practice and instructor feedback, followed by a clinical practicum in a medical laboratory. This course matches requirements as established by the National Healthcare Association(NCA), and complies with guidelines/essentials published by the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Science. This is a National Certification Exam. $375.00 is due to the Instructor along with an exam fee of $155.00.(cash or credit), Books, study guide and materials are provided.
