In Beginning Sewing, students will learn basic sewing machine operation, how to read a pattern, and select suitable fabric and accessories, As the class progresses students will learn about pattern layout and cutting, pressing, and construction techniques. Purchase of basic sewing supplies, fabric and a unisex pajama pants pattern (company and number will be provided at the first class), and having a working sewing machine are required. A partial supply list and supplies needed will be emailed to each student before class.
